I often think about how hard it is to convey what it felt like on September 11th. I don't have a personal connection like you do and I didn't lose anyone but I know I will never recover from that day. I think will all lost parts of ourselves. I am glad that you shared your story as it helps convey the uncertainty and terror that many people went through that day. As a mother, I can't even imagine how awful that was for you. I'm glad Dom was safe.
