My Health Insurance Story Got Boosted, and Wow, There Is a Lot of Anger
I never intended to be the flag bearer for health insurance
Last week, a story I wrote in December got boosted. I have had stories chosen for further distribution, but I have never been boosted. I was excited when I started getting comments, but they quickly became negative. The experience has been thought-provoking, and I’ve learned a lot. I’m naturally a passive person, so I don’t like making people angry. But I enjoy hearing different viewpoints and looking at things from various angles, and I got to do both.

After reading responses to my article, I realized I failed to take the time to read my article from the perspective of someone who has been denied care or had other bad experiences related to health insurance.
