This article is inspiring for so many reasons. You engaged in some meaningful self reflection and the results were positive. Now, I feel you have a much better idea of the America that Black people like me live in- full of bias, overt and covert acts of racism, and micro-aggressions. We cannot help that we grew up in different communities but your story gave me hope that more people will come around to respecting people from different cultures and fighting for change.
